About the Lynn YMCA.

The Lynn YMCA is a not for profit community organization. The YMCA is owned by the members and the community. Our mission statement is as follows:

“The Greater Lynn YMCA, as a community-based organization with a commitment  to service to the community, will utilize its staff, volunteers and facilities to respond to community and individual needs by providing quality recreational, social and education experiences in a Judeo-Christian atmosphere for everyone regardless of sex age, nationality, religious belief or income level.”

The Y has a financial aid program in order to ensure that no one is turned away because they are unable to pay. We offer a sliding fee scale for those who have a financial need.

Volunteers founded the Y. The policies and practices of the Y are established by a volunteer board of directors made up of members of the community. In addition, the Y provides many opportunities for volunteering on committees and in programs. In addition, our dedicated staff members are ready to answer your questions and help you meet your goals.

The Lynn YMCA offers state of the art facilities for your work outs. Several different work out areas allow members to vary their work out and thus prevent burn out.
